S.A.C.R.E.D. Agave Spirits Tasting

Join us Monday, November 6, as Lou Bank of S.A.C.R.E.D. (Saving Agave for Culture, Recreation, Education, and Development) shares his passion for all things agave with us, while pouring tastes of seven rare, uncertified agave spirits. He’ll demonstrate through tastings how the hand of the maestro effects the flavor of the spirit; how the agave itself effects the flavor of the spirit; and how one small element — like the milling process of the roasted agave — effects the flavor of the spirit.

This event is free but seats are limited. So, please only say you’re coming if you plan to actually attend.

Following the tasting, there will be a 4 to 5pm service industry happy hour, followed by a 5 to 7pm open-to-public happy hour with a DJ and cocktails.

S.A.C.R.E.D. is a Chicago-based, 501c3 not-for-profit that uses traditional and artisanal agave spirits from rural Mexico to help improve the quality of life in the communities where those spirits are made. Learn more at sacredagave.org
