Lo Mas Chingon Rare Mezcales and Agave Spirits Tasting

Join us Friday, November 9, 2018 from 5-8pm for a special tasting with the founders of NETA Maestros del Mezcal and AmorMata by Nación de las Verdes Mata. They will be pouring unique and otherwise unavailable, small- batch mezcales and agave distillates from different regions of Mexico.

Each brand will be presenting two different expressions from 5-8pm at Tamarindo. There will be full restaurant and bar service, while the founders of NETA, Maestros del Mezcal, and amormata offer samples and make themselves available to questions. NETA will present destilado de agave from Miahuatlán, and Maestros del Mezcal from the Mixteca regions of Oaxaca, while Luis Loya of Nacion de las Verdes Matas will bring some agave spirits from Northern Mexico under the name amormata. This will be a special opportunity to try some very rare mezcales and talk with the founders of three different projects dedicated to the sale and promotion of traditionally made mezcales and agave spirits.

Flight tasting with the founders of NETA

During service hours Thursday, November 8 the founders of NETA will be working the floor and presenting a flight of three specially selected expressions from three different mezcaleros from the district of Miahuatlán, in the Sierra Sur region of Oaxaca, an area renowned for its continuity of culture and traditional agave spirits production. Bar and kitchen service will be in full-swing, so come by for a snack or dinner and the chance to talk all things agave. No cover charge.
